“Just Look Around You …”

“Just Look Around You …”

“Just look around you …” , this is a phrase that is often used by Christians. This innocent phrase can negate our faith in God.

Isaiah 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Is this really true? Just look around you … there are still so many Christians living with their sickness and diseases. Many had died in their sickness. Can we believe Isaiah 53:5 ” …by His stripes we are healed.”?

Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
Is it really true? Just look around you … many Christians are still struggling in their Christian lives. Many are still living in sin and not in victory. Can we take Romans 6:14 to be true ? “For sin shall not have dominion over you …”

Romans 8:32 “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” “All Things” should also include Health and Wealth.
Is it really true? Just look around you … there are still many Christian who are living in poverty; struggling for their livelihood.
Can we believe what the Scripture said in Romans 8:32? ” … with Him also freely give us all things”.

Peter was walking on water towards Jesus … until he ‘looked around him’. (Matthew 14:22-33)

Faith is believing what God said to be true. Are you putting your faith in God or are you listening to the people who says “Just look around you …”. Are you people who “See to Believe” or are you those who “Believe and See”. As believers of Christ we are to walk by faith and not by sight.

An innocent phrase “Just look around you …” has negated the ‘Faith’ of many believers. Faith sees the invisible and believes the impossible. Faith believes what God has said to be true … no matter how the situation and circumstances looks. Faith believes in God.
